Do I need council approval to remove a tree?
Depending on the circumstances, you may need local council approval to remove a tree on your property. Trees are protected by the local council, and some councils will require a permit even for dead trees. There are some factors which may exclude you from requiring council permission; and our trained arborists will be able to assist you in determining whether your tree work qualifies for these exemptions or whether you need to seek advice from your local council.
How do I get a permit ?
You can apply to get a permit for intended tree work through your local council. You will be required to complete a Tree Preservation Order application, and this can be either downloaded through your local council’s website or by calling them directly to enquire. Application fees usually apply.

Can I get a quote over the phone or by providing a photo?
Due to the often complex nature of tree work, and the many factors our arborist needs to consider when assessing the work requested; we cannot provide an accurate quotation for tree services over the phone or by looking at a photo. Our trained arborists are very happy to meet with you and provide a free quote, where we can accurately assess the scope of the work requested and discuss your requirements.
